Our little girl is now 18 days old and i already can't believe what life would be like without her, minus the lack of sleep. As you can see from this picture, Michael Codi loves being a big brother, sometimes a little too much. He loves holding her, only under his conditions, usually he wants to stand up with her, so we are working on that. We've only had a couple incidences where Addy could have ended up on her head. The first one was when she was only 4 days old. She was laying in her little bouncer chair sleeping in the dining room and i was in the front room doing a little reading while my mom was in the kitchen getting things done for dinner. Michael Codi had been sitting by me and then he ran into the kitchen and then ran back into me and then he ran back into the kitchen and then he comes back in by me, running the whole time mind you, he comes running and slams into the couch and out of the corner of my eye i realize he's got the babies blanket, AND THE BABY! He had run from the kitchen to the front room with his little sister! Thankfully he was carrying her head up and made it all the way to the couch with her. After that we've made sure to strap her in, not that that's stopped him from trying to pick her up but it's slowed him down. We finally got him his own baby that he can carry around.He's already a protective big brother. We took her in for her two week and the dr. was listening to her heart and Michael got this concerned look and started waving his arms kinda swatting at the stethescope and yelling, NO...NO...NO...it's been an adjustment for all, but one we all love!

We're so grateful my mom could come and help out for a week. i wanted to cry when she left because i didn't know how i was going to be able to do everything, but we've managed so far, just don't judge me by how my house looks right now!
Addison is our little princess! but Boy they sure do grow fast. At her two week check-up she was already 8 lbs. 12 oz. i think she's following in her brother's footsteps and is going to be a Healthy "robust" cutie! What can i say, i think i just produce straight cream!
Michael Codi got some super man jammies for Christmas and loves flying on his daddy's feet!

Baby Addison is so beautiful! Congrats on the new addition to your family! That's too funny about how Micheal Codi loves his sister so much!
Your kids are so cute. They are both growing so fast. It seems like it has been forever since we have seen you guys. We look forward to seeing you soon.
